The Opportunity
As a Customer Verification Specialist, you'll sit within our Operations team and own the final verification process before settlement.
This isn't a scripted call centre role. You'll be trusted to engage customers, validate information, identify inconsistencies, and make informed decisions that help protect both our customers and our business.
You'll work closely with Sales, Credit, Customer Care and Operations teams to ensure every customer receives a seamless experience while maintaining strong risk and compliance controls.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct verification calls with approved customers prior to funding
- Confirm application details and validate customer information
- Review documentation and identify inconsistencies or potential risks
- Investigate anomalies and escalate concerns when required
- Maintain accurate records and audit trails
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer queries efficiently
- Support fraud prevention and operational integrity initiatives
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, controls and customer experience
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong customer communication skills with excellent judgement and attention to detail.
You'll bring:
- Experience in a customer-facing or phone based role
- Confidence having professional conversations and asking probing questions
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Sound decision making skills and the confidence to challenge information when required
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills
- A collaborative approach and desire to be part of a high performing team
Experience in financial services, lending, customer onboarding, fraud prevention, quality assurance or operations environments will be highly regarded, but it's not essential.
