We’re partnering with a leading national security services provider to appoint a National Operations Manager – Security — a critical executive role driving performance, compliance, and growth across a multi-state portfolio.

This is not a desk job. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands the realities of security operations on the ground — and knows how to scale them nationally.

You will take ownership of national security operations, leading teams across NSW, VIC, and QLD to deliver high-performance, compliant, and client-focused services. You’ll sit at the intersection of:

What you’ll be responsible for

• Leading and optimising national security operations
• Driving service excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Overseeing mobilisation of new contracts from end to end
• Building and mentoring a high-performing leadership team
• Managing key client relationships and performance reviews
• Ensuring compliance with licensing, WHS, and regulatory frameworks
• Delivering financial performance and cost control across operations
• Embedding a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

What you bring to the table
This role is for someone who has deep experience in the Australian security sector — not adjacent, not theoretical.
You bring:

• Proven experience in a senior security leadership role (multi-site, national or state level)
• Strong understanding of Australian security legislation, licensing, and compliance
• Demonstrated success managing large-scale operations, teams, and budgets
• Experience implementing and scaling security contracts
• Ability to lead in high-pressure, high-risk environments
• Strong stakeholder management across high profile clients, regulators, and internal teams
• A leadership style grounded in accountability, clarity, and performance

Bonus if you have:

• Certificate IV in Security / 2A & 2B Licensing
• Formal qualifications in Business, Security, or Risk Management
