About the Opportunity

WorkTrybe is partnering with a fast-growing business to recruit a Collections Specialist to join their Operations team. This is not your typical collections role, you’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering fair, practical, and customer-centric outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of late-stage accounts, working closely with customers to find realistic and sustainable solutions.

• Manage high-volume inbound and outbound collections activity
• Own a portfolio of late-stage recoveries
• Conduct skip tracing to locate and re-engage customers
• Negotiate repayment plans and build strong customer relationships
• Liaise with external parties including agents and legal representatives
• Assess financial hardship applications and provide appropriate solutions
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
• Contribute to team and individual KPI performance

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ years’ experience in collections (secured or unsecured)
• Strong experience in late-stage collections and skip tracing
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills
• Positive, team-oriented approach
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is a bonus
• Litigation experience highly regarded
