About the Role:

As a Credit Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in reviewing and validating customer applications, assessing creditworthiness and ensuring lending decisions align with underwriting and credit guidelines.

You’ll work within a collaborative Credit Operations team that values analytical thinking, initiative and continuous improvement. This role offers hands on exposure to credit assessment, process optimisation and cross functional collaboration with Sales and Operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Reviewing customer applications and contracts within application queues
• Validating financial information including bank statements, merchant statements and third party credit reports
• Conducting online searches to verify business existence and legitimacy
• Identifying missing application components and following up with Sales teams
• Navigating multiple systems to deliver accurate, timely credit assessments
• Assisting with special projects to improve credit processes and efficiency
• Prioritising workflow to meet SLAs in a fast-paced lending environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in financial services, credit assessment or lending environments
• Strong analytical and problem solving capability
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced setting
• Self motivated, proactive and comfortable working both independently and within a team
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic and evolving lending environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software
• Salesforce experience is a bonus
