WorkTrybe are proud to partner with this long-standing, national client to find the latest addition to their Global award-winning team. Our client specialises in Security services and we are seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Lead to manage their HSE initiatives in Victoria and Tasmania.
As the HSE Lead you will visit 100's of client sites to ensure the safety of their frontline employees, and manage the internal safety of the Port Melbourne corporate office. Most of the client base is around Melbourne and some are in regional Victoria. There will be a requirement to travel to Tasmania approximately once per quarter to inspect sites there also.
About the role:
Drive the creation and execution of a high-impact HSE framework
Lead the injury management and RTW strategy day to day and long-term
Partner with leaders to embed a safety-first culture using your influencing skills
Visit multiple client sites across various industries
Own compliance, reporting, and auditing to maintain ISO certifications
Manage claims, collaborating with providers, and supporting employees through their RTW journey
Lead risk assessments, incident investigations and action plans
Use your tech-savviness across HRIS, ISO, incident systems and more
Train and coach others on how to identify risks, log incidents and escalate WHS matters
About you:
Ideally 3–5 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Environment role
Solid RTW and Workers Compensation management skills
Experience in diverse, multisite environment - there are over 100 client sites to visit and assess
A confident communicator who builds trust with stakeholders at all levels
Proven experience on bringing people on a safety journey - telling people what to do just won't work - you need their buy in!
Tech-strong and systems-savvy (HRIS, ISO platforms, incident reporting tools)
Unflappable under pressure – cool head, organised, and excellent time management
Minimum Cert IV in WHS and RTW Certification
Full Australian working rights and current drivers licence
Required to undergo a national police check
