Senior Electrical Engineer - Communications & Energy Systems

We are working with a growing engineering and technology business delivering critical communications and energy infrastructure across mining, defence, and major infrastructure projects.

Following recent investment and continued expansion, they are looking to bring on a hands-on Senior Electrical Engineer to support projects from concept through to deployment.

This is not a pure design desk job. You will be involved across the full lifecycle:

• Electrical design and engineering for integrated systems
• Working across DC, solar, hybrid and battery systems
• Supporting FAT, commissioning, and deployment
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across communications and power
• Taking ownership of projects and contributing to technical direction

What You'll Be Working On

• 48V DC systems
• Solar and hybrid power solutions
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Communications infrastructure (remote and critical environments)
• Projects across mining, defence, and infrastructure sectors

What They're Looking For

• RPEQ (essential)
• Strong electrical design background with hands-on delivery experience
• Experience across FAT and commissioning
• Background in DC, solar, hybrid or BESS systems
• Comfortable working across both design and site environments
• Brisbane-based with full Australian working rights
