Project Engineer (Mechanical / Electrical) North Sydney | Mining & Industrial Projects | $130K–$150K + Super

We’re working with a global engineering business delivering air, water, and sound solutions across mining, oil & gas, and heavy industry. This is not a narrow, siloed role.

It’s a true end-to-end engineering position - from concept and design through to commissioning and real-world problem solving.

The Role You’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle:

• Design and develop mechanical/electrical systems and products
• Support project delivery, tenders, and procurement
• Work closely with manufacturing and workshop teams
• Oversee installation, FAT, and commissioning
• Travel to site (AU & international) to ensure systems perform as intended
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues post-installation

Projects typically range from $1M–$10M, primarily within mining, with some exposure to oil & gas.

About You

• Degree qualified (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
• Experience in mining, industrial, or heavy engineering environments
• Strong design capability (CAD + documentation)
• Exposure to installation, commissioning, or site-based work
• Able to work autonomously and adapt in a fast-moving environment
