Project Manager (Electrical Manufacturing) | North Melbourne
On-site role managing end-to-end delivery of switchboard and switch room manufacturing projects; working across engineering, production, and client teams.
What you’ll do
• Manage projects from concept through to completion within a manufacturing environment
• Coordinate engineering, production, and fabrication teams to ensure smooth delivery
• Review 2D/3D drawings for compliance with Australian Standards
• Liaise with clients and provide regular project updates
• Oversee procurement, logistics, and material delivery
• Support quality control, testing, and final validation of assemblies
• Assist with tendering and project documentation
What you’ll need
• 2+ years’ experience in electrical or manufacturing project delivery
• Relevant qualification or trade background (degree preferred)
• Knowledge of Australian Standards (AS/NZS 61439, 3000, 3008, NCC/BCA)
• Experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD preferred)
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills
