A leading technology innovator at the forefront of developing sophisticated solutions in the defence and security industry is looking for a Senior RF Electronics Engineer. Their cutting-edge products are designed to protect against emerging threats, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to deliver unparalleled performance and reliability.

As a Senior RF Electronics Engineer, you’ll design and validate complex wide-band RF circuits, PCB designs, and high-speed interfaces for advanced modular sensor systems.

One thing to note is that this role will require full relocation to Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, test, and support the production of RF hardware solutions.
• Develop schematic and PCB layouts using Altium for high-speed digital and RF circuitry.
• Conduct RF hardware analysis, including isolation, matching networks, and filter specifications.
• Utilise benchtop test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analysers, and signal generators.
• Ensure hardware designs adhere to industry standards and global/local radio regulations for intentional radiators.
• Apply best practices in PCB layout techniques for high-speed digital and RF circuit designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF solutions into broader system architectures.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5-10 years of experience in RF hardware design, testing, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of RF design principles, including impedance matching and isolation.
• Experience designing battery-powered device applications.
• Understanding of global and local radio compliance standards.
