The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving growth and strengthening our presence in the region. Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and key customer developments
- Supporting the creation and execution of strategies to protect and grow business in the region
- Identifying, pursuing, and tendering for major projects and large-scale quotations
- Managing and developing strong relationships with key accounts and stakeholders
- Translating customer needs into practical, tailored solutions
- Planning and scheduling regular account visits to maximise engagement and opportunity
What We're Looking For We're seeking someone with a passion for sales, strong technical acumen, and experience in complex, solution-based selling. You will bring:
- Proven success in achieving sales targets and KPIs within a relevant industry
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Solid understanding of solution-based sales processes
- Industry knowledge across industrial, mining, agriculture, or defence sectors
- Hands-on experience in hydraulics (essential)
- Project management skills and shutdown/maintenance experience
- Strong time management, presentation, and communication skills
- Trade qualification or technical background (desirable)
