Our Regency Park facility featuring modern offices consists of two clean and functional workshops, hydraulic test benches, clean room, cylinder reman benches & honing machine, machine shop, fabrication area and paint booth. With a local team comprised of Engineering, Sales, Electrical, Automation, Stores, Purchasing and Mechanical Trades you will be well supported locally.    
 
About the Role
 
Due to our continual growth, we are seeking an experienced Fitters to join our Regency Park branch in Adelaide. There is a mixture of Field Service and Workshop work where your main responsibilities will consist of: 

• Performing a mixture of workshop and site-based work – regional and metro, with occasional interstate work as required
• General mechanical fitting work as required
• Operating machinery, hand tools and lifting equipment
• Maintaining equipment, tools and housekeeping to a high standard
• Trouble shooting, fault finding and servicing of hydraulic systems
• Repairs and rebuilding of hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and motors
• Assembly and commissioning of components for new build and projects
• Provide guidance and training to apprentices and other trades staff as required

 
About You  
 
To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A relevant trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Diesel Fitter or similar
• Experience operating a manual lathe and milling machine (desirable)
• Diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Hydraulic experience is preferred, training will be provided
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings 
• Effective communication, time management and organisational skills
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
