About your new role
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Field service- Leading hand to lead day-to-day workshop operations and deliver high-quality service to our clients.

Your key responsibilities
In this role, you'll be responsible for a combination of hands-on technical work and workshop leadership, including:
- Installing and repairing lubrication, hydraulic, fire suppression and refueling equipment to a high standard.
- Supervising and allocating tasks to Field service staff to ensure efficiency, safety and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with customer expectations, within agreed timeframes and budget.
- Providing technical support, mentoring team members and promoting best practices across the field.
- Maintaining strict compliance with health and safety policies and upholding company values in all interactions.
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues in Cooper built products and services and collaborating with other key branch personnel.
About you / What you will need to succeed To succeed in this role, you’ll be a trade-qualified fitter with strong hands-on experience and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Required: - Relevant trade or engineering qualification.
- Current, valid driver's licence.
- Sound knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and lubrication systems.
- Experience supervising or mentoring workshop staff.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer service.
- Basic experience in job estimation, quoting and scheduling work.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Desirable (but not essential): - High Risk Licences - EWP, Working at Heights, Dogging, Rigging or Forklift.
- Cert IV in Hydraulics or Training and Assessment.
- Knowledge of Oracle or a Job Management System.
- Experience with high force lifting equipment.
