About your new role

Cooper Fluid Systems is seeking a full-time FIFO Fire Technician to join our team FIFO from Perth to Kalgoorlie region on an 8/6 roster. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fluid handling equipment across remote mine sites.
 
 
What you'll be doing

• Perform routine fire equipment inspections, testing, and maintenance on a range of fluid handling systems
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime
• Document all maintenance activities and prepare detailed reports including fire equipment registers and inspection test reports
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety and quality standards.

About you

• Relevant experience as a Fire Technician, preferably in a mining or industrial environment
• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced, remote setting
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
• Current driver's licence and ability to obtain relevant mining site inductions
