Business Development - Sales Manager - Food Industry Focus

Agenda Consulting is recruiting for our client based in NSW seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Professional to expand their brand and drive sales within the production kitchens, processed food vendors, and global fast-food sector.

Our client is a renowned Japanese company specializing in the production and sale of food condiments including; seasonings, dressings and mayonnaise being its core products. With a strong presence in Australia, they are seeking a professional to expand their brand and drive sales. A background in marketing and sales strategy within the food industry is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Drive Market Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share in industrial and foodservice sectors.
• Target Global Fast-Food: Lead direct sales efforts to secure deals with major fast-food chains.
• Boost Brand Visibility: Implement marketing initiatives to enhance brand recognition and market position.
• Secure New Business: Identify and close new business opportunities through strong relationship building and negotiation.
• Provide Market Insights: Deliver key market and customer feedback to guide product and marketing strategies.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet sales targets and provide regular performance reports.
• Ensure Smooth Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate efficient product and service delivery.
• Represent the Company: Act as a company representative at industry events and key stakeholder meetings.

• Strong knowledge, experience, or network within the industrial food market, foodservice vendors, and the global fast-food sector.
• Proven ability to negotiate, communicate effectively, and build lasting business relationships.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset, capable of working independently in a competitive market.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Australia.
