Logistics Coordinator
Based in Armadale

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator on behalf of our client, a successful agri-business leader with international business operations.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving global business. You will play a crucial role in managing domestic and international logistics operations for their agricultural products. You will work closely with the trading team to ensure timely and efficient execution of import, export, and cross-trade contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire logistics process, from packing instructions to final delivery.
- Ensure adherence to contract timelines and regulations.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers and domestic carriers.
- Oversee import permit acquisition and AQIS inspections.
- Monitor container detention and late receival issues.
- Liaise with documentation and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely paperwork.
- Manage bag orders, stock levels, and inspection agency appointments.
- Handle country-specific requirements and regulatory updates.
- Create and manage RFPs for permits.
- Coordinate with transport companies for container availability and delivery.
- Perform domestic debtor insurance checks.
- Manage and update shipping spreadsheets and filing systems.
Required Skills and Experience: - Experience in export/import logistics or shipping documentation.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Preferred knowledge of AQIS, OneStop, Customs, and shipping online documentation systems.
- Preferred experience with grains, pulses or similar food products and/or producers.
