Our client is seeking a high-calibre Logistics Specialist (Operations) to join their organisation at a pivotal stage of operational growth. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to a sophisticated, evolving supply chain environment where precision, partnership, and continuous improvement are central to success.
This position sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, requiring an individual who can both oversee day-to-day logistics operations and contribute to the refinement of systems, processes, and partnerships that underpin long-term performance.
You will play a key role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods across the network—from inbound coordination through to distribution—while maintaining a strong focus on operational efficiency, cost optimisation, and service excellence.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners, you will help shape a logistics function that is agile, scalable, and aligned with broader commercial objectives.
- Operational Excellence - Oversee logistics operations across warehousing, inventory flow, and distribution channels, ensuring consistent performance against service expectations and business requirements.
- Strategic Partner Management - Develop and maintain strong, effective relationships with third-party logistics providers and transport partners, ensuring alignment, accountability, and continuous performance improvement.
- Supply Chain Coordination - Facilitate the smooth movement of stock across inbound, storage, and outbound processes, ensuring optimal inventory availability to support both retail and e-commerce channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration - Act as a central point of coordination across merchandising, e-commerce, customer service, and technology teams to support product launches, delivery planning, and operational execution.
- Data & Performance Insight - Leverage data, reporting, and system insights to inform decision-making, enhance visibility, and drive improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.
- Continuous Improvement - Champion a culture of ongoing optimisation, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and strengthen operational resilience.
You are a commercially aware logistics professional who combines strong operational capability with a forward-thinking mindset. You are comfortable navigating complexity, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, and driving outcomes in a dynamic environment.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience within logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations
- Strong analytical capability, with advanced proficiency in Excel and confidence working with logistics systems (WMS experience advantageous)
- A structured and detail-oriented approach, coupled with the ability to see the broader operational picture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
- The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business are highly regarded. A driver’s licence is required to support occasional site engagement.
This is an opportunity to join a well-regarded organisation where logistics is viewed as a strategic enabler of business success.
You will be empowered to contribute meaningfully to operational performance, influence process improvement, and work within a collaborative, high-performing environment.
