About your new job
Working in a broad scope and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting with Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Bank and general ledger reconciliations
• Month-end journals, Balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis
• Assist with the preparation of BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax
• Profit & Loss analysis
• Assist with Forecasting & Budgeting
• Cash Flow analysis
• Regular stock and inventory reporting
• Assist with cost analysis
• Liaise with internal stakeholders across multiple branches and departments
• Provide support to Finance Team on any ongoing projects
• Assist with preparation of annual audits
• Ad hoc tasks as required

  
  
About You

You will either be an up-and-coming Assistant Accountant with the ability to provide support in a variety of functions. 

To be successful in this role you will ideally have exposure in the following:

• Previous experience in a similar position; however, some training will be provided.
• Previous exposure in month-end processes
• Strong Knowledge of Excel
• Strong communication skills as well as attention to detail
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Exposure to large ERP systems
• Degree qualified
• Completed/enrolled/currently studying towards CPA/CA
