The clients we support have physical disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities ranging from Autism, Down Syndrome to Global Development Delay. 
  
This job is ideal for a support worker who has initiative and enjoy taking a flexible approach to supports each day. A typical day involves taking clients out to activities, providing respite for families and providing companionship.

• Are you a great communicator and able to use a variety of communication strategies (eg: social media, texting, non-verbal communication aids)?
  
  
• Are you able to commit to a client(s) for an extended period of time?
  
  
• Are you willing to continually up skill your knowledge by attending information and training opportunities?
  
  
• Are you able to work within a framework that celebrates the strengths of the client and proactively supports them to live their good life?
  
  
• Are you able to work in a role that is akin to a combination of life-coaching, support work, companionship and being motivational?
  
  
• Do you have some weekend availability?
  
  
• Do you have your own vehicle and a Full driver's license?
