Are you passionate about improving clinical quality and promoting safe practice in healthcare? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated professional to support our national quality and safety initiatives.
What you’ll do:

• Contribute to shaping national quality standards and promoting person-centred care
• Collaborate with clinical, digital, HR, and operational teams
• Support audits, develop policies, assist with training, monitor risk, and review incidents
• Help ensure compliance with NZ health & safety legislation and sector standards like Ngā Paerewa

This is a hands-on and collaborative role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams to drive continuous improvement and support safe, high-quality care.

Our successful applicant will:

• Be a NZ Registered Healthcare Professional with relevant APC;
• Preferably holds a relevant postgraduate qualification (e.g. Public Health, Health & Safety) or similar or working towards.
• Experience or strong interest in clinical quality improvement and/or health & safety is desirable
• Understanding of NZ health & safety legislation and Ngā Paerewa standards
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence in reviewing data and identifying trends to support improvement
• Confidence in managing audits, supporting training, and contributing to improvement initiatives
• Based in Christchurch or Auckland
