The Opportunity
This company is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to join their Finance team on a 2 month contract initially. This role has been created to support the  team with completing acquittals on time. This is a fantastic opportunity for a  technically strong accountant who thrives in working towards tight deadlines. 

The Role
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in stabilising and strengthening the finance function. This role will play a key part in providing urgent support to the team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing ongoing acquittal requirements and help the team meet strict deadlines 
• Performing detailed reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Assisting the team with adhoc responsibilities

This role requires someone proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently to deliver outcomes within tight timeframes.

About You
You are a technically strong Financial Accountant with experience working in a group environment. You are comfortable navigating complexity, investigating discrepancies, and working hands-on within systems.
You will bring:

• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant in a group structure
• CA or CPA qualification (preferred)
• Strong experience in acquittals 
• NFP experience highly regarded
• The ability to prioritise, work autonomously, and meet deadlines
