About the Organisation: This growing mid-sized accounting firm is known for its collaborative culture and strong focus on client service. With continued growth across the business, they are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team & support a diverse client portfolio.
This role offers excellent exposure to advisory-style bookkeeping work and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys variety, autonomy and working in a high-energy, people-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting clients with GST, BAS and compliance requirements
Managing end-to-end payroll, including interpreting awards and EBAs
Maintaining accurate financial records
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Processing invoices, payments and reconciliations
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Liaising directly with clients and external stakeholders
Skills and Experience:
2+ years’ experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant, within an Australian accounting firm
Strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting principles, particularly GST and BAS
Experience with Xero & MYOB
Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
Payroll experience and understanding of payroll obligations
Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach
