About the Role: 
They are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their North Brisbane office in the Business Services team. This is an amazing opportunity for a motivated accountant who wants real development while being part of a fun, dynamic team. Key responsibilities:

• Preparing tax returns and financial statements for a diverse range of clients, from partnerships and companies to trusts and individuals. Handling portfolios of up to $50 million.
• Be the go-to expert for clients, answering questions directly and providing practical, real-world solutions.
• Engaging in complex tax calculations, including Div7a, CGT, and FBT
• Collaborate with partners and managers across multiple client projects, keeping your work varied, fast-paced, and rewarding.
• Mentor and review junior or offshore team members’ work

Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in a public practice accounting firm, ideally in tax or business services.
• Solid understanding of Australian tax compliance and legislation.
• Either pursuing or open to pursuing your CPA or CA qualification.
• Experience with Xero and Microsoft Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• You’re motivated by growth, love building strong client relationships, and want a role that offers real career progression.
