As an AO3 Business Support Officer, you will play an integral role in supporting the department’s objectives, collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  
  
The Role 
In this AO3 position, you will provide essential administrative and customer service support across the department. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Delivering professional, high-level customer service by responding to enquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Assisting with financial administration, including invoice processing and verifying vendor details to support accurate AP operations.
• Maintaining data integrity across financial systems, preparing accurate reports, and performing quality checks with follow-up actions where required.
• Providing proactive support and guidance to internal teams and external clients, including Support Planners, to improve financial and administrative workflows.
• Contributing to wider Corporate Services initiatives, building strong relationships, and supporting team-based project work.

  
Your Profile

• Previous experience within Queensland State Government is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven ability to remain focused on data-driven tasks
• Solid background in administrative or business support roles
