About the Organisation:

This multi-award winning firm offers exceptional service to their loyal client base and has become extremely well known in the Southern suburbs of Brisbane. It is run by two extremely friendly and professional Partners, who have built a strong team of 10 underneath them and continue to see success each year.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their thriving team, ideally someone who would like to be trained into a Tax Manager role! This is THE role if you're motivated by career growth and advancement but want to work close to home to offer you a phenomenal work-life balance! 


Key responsibilities:

• Working closely with the current Tax Manager to prepare financial statements and tax returns for all entities (up to around $20million)
• Offering strategic tax advice to key clients and building long-term relationships  
• Engaging in complex tax calculations such as FBT, CGT and Div7a
• Answering client queries via phone or email 
• Reviewing work from junior team members 

Experience and Skillset:

• 3+ years' experience working in an Australian public practice accounting firm  
• Experience liaising with clients regarding queries, questions or strategic tax advice (across a variety of industries and turnovers)
• Tax registration or CPA/CA is a bonus!
• Someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively
• Strong communication skills and desire to build long-lasting relationships
