About the Organisation:

This highly reputable, internationally recognised mid-tier firm have established themselves as leaders in the market for their excellent services across compliance and business advisory. Their newest service comes in the form of 'CFO advisory' where they oversee change management and restructuring in key clients' financial teams, to help their businesses thrive.

The CFO Advisory team is looking for a highly experienced Bookkeeper who is keen to get more involved with the management & support of multiple clients' internal finance functions. Think of it like an 'internal role' in an external setting! This role will be working alongside a Director, 2 Managers, and team of 14 advisors.

Key responsibilities:

• Regular client contact and occasional onsite client engagement 
• Payroll processing for employees (including superannuation and leave entitlements)
• Process accounts payable, receivable, and maintain up-to-date financial records 
• Prepare BAS, IAS and GST reports 
• Collaborate with the managers and director for budgeting, forecasting and planning
• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards and general ledgers 
• Assist in preparing month-end processes and financial reports 

Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years' proven experience as a Bookkeeper in a public practice firm (commercial experience is a bonus!) 
• Experience using Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
• Strong understanding of BAS, payroll and GST compliance
• Excellent communication skills and confident in building relationships
• Ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously and prioritise tasks
