About the Organisation:

My client is a vibrant, forward-thinking and modern accounting firm near Carrara. They are seeing fantastic success and stable growth due to their open-minded approach and genuine care for their client-base across: SMSFs, start-ups, growing companies, high-networth individuals and large enterprises!

They have a strong team of 18 accountants working underneath 2 partners, and are opening their doors to other highly motivated Intermediate and Senior Accountants! Their exceptional culture and brand has created longevity in their firm, with nearly all of the team having been there for a minimum of 5 years! You will be given direct access to all the tools needed to reach personal success.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for multiple entities including partnership, trust, individual and company (up to $40million)
• Attend client meetings, offer expert advice and tax planning strategies 
• Build long-term relationships with clients and act as a point of contact for them regarding queries and updates 
• Work collaboratively within the team to get the best outcome for clients

Skills and Experience:

• At least 3+ years working as a public practice accountant (or bookkeeper) 
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns for all entities (including Div7a, CGT and FBT)
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and reporting standards
• Someone who loves building client relationships and is a confident communicator (both written and verbally) 
• CPA or CA is a bonus!
