Join this medium-sized commercial accounting team, where you'll report into an experienced Finance Manager and an exceptional Chief Financial Officer who can help build your commercial acumen, accounting skills and systems knowledge.

The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified or recently qualified  Accountant eager to transition into an Accountant role and expand their expertise in end-of-month reporting, tax and systems.

As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing end-of-month processes, including posting journals and GL reconciliations
• Performing bank reconciliations for up to 10 stores
• Overseeing financial reporting across the group structure
• Handling group consolidation accounting
• Managing inventory processes
• Preparing and submitting GST returns
• Reviewing systems data integrity to ensure accuracy
• Liaising with multiple sites to gain a deep understanding of the business

Your Profile:
We are looking for an ambitious accounting professional ready to take the next step in their career. Ideally, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Senior working in public practice looking to transition to a commercial environment, OR be an Assistant Accountant seeking progression into an Accountant role, OR solid bookkeeping experience within SMEs, ready to expand your skill set
• Part-qualified or recently qualified as a CPA or CA 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• The ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
