We are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Team Leader, Counselling for the Northern Beaches and Northern Sydney region on a maximum-term basis until the end of 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of high-quality therapeutic services while supporting, mentoring and developing a team of counsellors. Combining hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, you will deliver evidence-based counselling to individuals, couples and families, work with complex presentations, provide clinical supervision and coaching, and help shape service delivery, strengthen clinical practice, and drive positive outcomes for clients.

• Deliver evidence-based counselling to individuals, couples and families to improve relationships, communication and wellbeing
• Work with complex client presentations, including domestic and family violence, mental health and child safety concerns
• Apply a family systems approach, integrating a range of therapeutic models
• Provide clinical supervision, coaching and training to a team of counsellors

The Details:

• Maximum-Term Contract: starting asap until the end of the year
• Full time (working 5 days a week)
• Location: Northern Beaches & Northern Sydney

What You’ll Bring

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or a related discipline
• Significant experience in counselling (minimum 5 years full-time or equivalent clinical hours)
• Demonstrated experience in clinical supervision, coaching and team leadership
• Strong capability in trauma-informed practice and working with individuals, couples and families
