What you’ll do
As our Adolescent and Family Counsellor, you will bring strong experience in family and systemic therapy to deliver high‑quality, child‑focused counselling to young people and their families experiencing significant and often entrenched relational challenges. You will work with families navigating high‑conflict separation, grief and loss, domestic and family violence, complex trauma, mental health concerns and substance use, including situations involving court‑ordered or highly complex referrals.
Grounded in a family systems and trauma‑informed framework, your work will focus on helping parents and carers reflect deeply on their parenting approaches, identify and shift longstanding patterns of interaction, and build the insight and therapeutic capacity needed to better support their children’s emotional and developmental needs. This role requires a practitioner who is confident working with complex family dynamics and able to hold risk, conflict and change processes with skill and sensitivity.
