Are you a commercially savvy leader who loves turning complexity into clarity, building smart systems, and enabling teams to do their best work? At TeamKids, we’re all about having fun while making a real impact — and this role sits right at the heart of how our services operate every day.
About us:
At TeamKids, we're not just leaders in Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) — we're creators of joy, laughter, and unforgettable moments for children across Australia. With more than 250 services nationally, we deliver engaging before and after school programs and unforgettable holiday experiences that children love.
Our core values — Fun, Innovative, Involved, Remarkable, and Genuine — guide everything we do. From the way we support our people to how we design programs for children, these values shape our culture and our decisions. If they resonate with you, you’ll feel right at home here.
About the role:
We’re excited to be recruiting a National Procurement & Logistics Manager to lead one of TeamKids’ most critical operational functions.
Reporting to the Head of Product & Commercial Optimisation, this senior, hands-on leadership role owns the end-to-end strategy, performance and accountability of procurement, logistics, inventory and service enablement across TeamKids nationally.
From furniture, play equipment and craft supplies to groceries, cleaning services and logistics partnerships — if it’s in a TeamKids service, this role enables it. You’ll ensure our teams have the right resources, at the right time, at the right cost, while maintaining strong governance, commercial discipline and service quality across a fast-paced, child-focused environment.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure all services are consistently resourced to deliver safe, fun and high-quality OSHC programs
- Lead the national procurement and logistics strategy aligned to TeamKids’ growth plans
- Own pricing, margins and cost recovery across the TeamKids Store
- Manage service supply budgets in partnership with Finance and Operations
- Oversee warehouse operations and inventory performance (~$1.2m stock on hand)
- Optimise stock availability, forecasting, replenishment and stock turns
- Own national logistics performance, including DIFOT outcomes and peak demand planning
- Manage supplier relationships, including national and overseas partners
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs and service levels with suppliers and freight providers
- Oversee cleaning contracts and performance across all services
- Lead, coach and develop the Procurement & Logistics team
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, data, automation and decision-making
- Own and enforce the centralised procurement model across all departments and sub-brands
About you: You’re a confident, commercially minded leader who thrives in complex, multi-site environments. You balance strong governance with practical problem-solving and enjoy being close to the detail while thinking strategically about scale and sustainability.
You take pride in enabling others to succeed, bring curiosity to challenges, and are motivated by making things better — for teams, for services, and ultimately for children.
You will have: - Proven senior experience in procurement, logistics or supply chain leadership
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, pricing and margins
- Hands-on experience with inventory management, warehousing and national distribution
