About the client:
Our client is a premier provider of civil construction and mining services, recognized for excellence in safety, quality, and project delivery across various sectors. With a strong project pipeline for 2025 and beyond throughout Western Australia, they are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Civil Superintendent to lead site operations on an upcoming project.
This position offers an initial 3–4 month engagement, with ongoing opportunities for future projects on either a 2:1 or 8:6 FIFO roster.

The Role:
As a Civil Superintendent, you will play a pivotal leadership role, overseeing all facets of site operations to ensure successful execution in line with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Project Leadership: Manage and lead the execution of civil construction activities on site, aligning with project goals, client expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Operational Oversight: Coordinate daily site operations, ensuring performance, productivity, and adherence to budget and schedule.
• Team Management: Provide leadership to supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Safety & Compliance: Champion a strong safety culture, enforcing HSE policies and procedures and ensuring risk management practices are upheld.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the key site liaison between clients, project managers, and internal teams, providing regular progress updates and resolving on-site challenges.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets engineering and construction standards.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in civil construction and/or mining environments (essential)
• Proven track record in a Superintendent or Senior Site Supervisor role
• Strong expertise in bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure, or mining services
• S26 training (mandatory)
• Proficiency with Procore, Hammertech, and MS Office Suite (not essential)
• Exceptional leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams, subcontractors, and site logistics
• Current Driver’s License
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or hold valid working rights in Australia

• FIFO from Perth (only)
• Roster: 2:1 or 8:6
• Initial project duration: 4+ months, with further work secured
• Mid June mobilization
