The Role
Are you an experienced Mining Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We're currently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to join a site-based technical services team in a pivotal planning role focused on mid to short-term scheduling.

Reporting directly to the Principal Mining Engineer, this position is ideal for someone ready to drive operational planning outcomes and contributing to a high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver detailed mid and short-term mine plans in line with long-term strategy.
• Prepare accurate weekly and daily production schedules.
• Work collaboratively with geology, survey, and operations to ensure effective plan execution.
• Identify planning constraints and propose solutions to optimize production.
• Support continuous improvement through data-driven insights and process refinement.
• Participate in planning meetings and clearly communicate scheduling changes.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Maintain and promote high standards in safety and environmental compliance.

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in open-pit mining, preferably gold.
• Strong technical experience in mid to short-term mine planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in mining design and planning software
• Strong communication and coordination skills across departments.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
• Valid Australian work rights and a current manual driver’s licence.
