Full Job Description:
We’re seeking skilled Heavy Duty Fitters to support the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile equipment on our mining and civil projects. This role plays a key part in keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a range of heavy mobile equipment, including earthmoving and mining machinery
• Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance in line with OEM and site standards
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults and provide effective solutions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and condition reports
• Work closely with supervisors and operators to prioritize equipment servicing
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and contribute to a strong safety culture
• Keep workshop and work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Australian recognized trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or similar
• Proven experience working on heavy equipment in mining or civil environments
• Construction White Card
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• RTIO / BHP induction (preferred, but not essential)
• National Police Clearance (current or willing to obtain)
• Minimum of 2 contactable referees relevant to your experience
