About the team:
This role is part of our IT Services team. This team focuses not just on fixing complex issues but also spots opportunities to improve customer's IT environment, whilst offering sound technical advice to customers. 

Your role:
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Systems Engineer (IT Services Engineer) to join our team in Melbourne. You will be focused on supporting client's IT environments (small, midsize and enterprise companies) and provide both remote and onsite support.

Your key responsibilities:

• Day to day operations of client's systems.
• Communication with customers to identify pain points across their infrastructure. 
• Maintain ownership of incidents and escalations.
• Identifying gaps or issues within the customers' IT environments.
• Work towards billable hours targets and self-work generation.
• Work with senior consultants and account management staff to ensure effective management of the clients.

Skills you need to be successful in the role:

• Prior experience in an MSP/client focussed position, providing a wide range of IT support. 
• Solid understanding of a wide range of IT technologies - servers, virtualization, networking, MDM and cloud.
• Implementation and troubleshooting experience of cloud based hosted platforms, IaaS and MDM platforms, would be beneficial but not essential.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer centric mindset.
