Why work for Brennan?
At Brennan, we aim to lead, not follow. One of the ways we do this is through an open diverse culture that values performance, where anyone in the team can bring new ideas to the table and see them thrive. Our people are empowered, considerate, supportive, trusting and accepting, they are the cornerstone of the business. Because of this approach, we have become the largest Australian owned systems integrator in Australia and continue to grow.
Brennan offers an excellent remuneration package and benefits including:
- A focus on health and well-being - social club, sporting teams, health checks, poker, trivia nights and more!
- A strong culture underpinned by values that are truly lived every day
- An environment that embraces learning and development of all employees
- High levels of reward and recognition for overachieving
As Brennan’s Marketing Specialist, your primary focus will be delivering the go-to-market initiatives that grow our Cybersecurity business. That means winning new logos and helping existing clients get more from Brennan’s security capability, through targeted campaigns, account plays and content that builds engagement, supports sales conversations and influences pipeline.
Based in our Sydney HQ, you’ll work in the office on our team anchor days: Mon, Wed, Thu.
The Role This is a hands-on, part-time delivery role. You’ll take initiatives from idea through to execution: turning Brennan’s security solutions into integrated campaigns, building targeted plays for priority new-logo and existing-customer accounts, equipping sales with relevant content and reporting clearly on what’s working. It suits someone who enjoys being close to the detail and seeing campaigns go live. While cybersecurity is your core focus, you’ll also support broader marketing priorities across Brennan as needed.
You'll own the end-to-end delivery of Brennan's cybersecurity campaigns and plays, making sure they complement and extend the overall GTM strategy and plan set by the Head of Marketing. That means working closely with the Marketing Manager and ABM Manager, so activity plans and execution stay aligned. Partnering with our Director of Cyber Security and Cyber specialists will help you understand our security solutions, customer challenges and commercial priorities, while staying across vendor roadmaps, threat trends, regulatory changes and industry events means you can plan the cyber campaign calendar well ahead.
At Brennan, we think AI is a great tool, as it’s enabling us to do more, see more and innovate faster! And while we love it, it's there to support your experience and knowledge, not replace it. You stay in charge and always have the final say on what's produced and published.
You'll use AI every day in your role to research, draft, analyse and report faster, without compromising accuracy or brand standards.
What you’ll deliver
- Plan and execute cyber GTM activity
- Drive new logo and customer growth through targeted account plays
- Equip sales and build cyber content
- Measure, optimise and report
Experience To thrive in this role, you’ll bring at least three years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in ICT, managed services, cybersecurity or another complex B2B environment. You know how to turn propositions, account insight and sales priorities into integrated campaigns and targeted plays, and you can take them from planning through to launch, follow-up and reporting.
You’re commercially minded, organised and hands-on, and you know how to make a real impact across a three-day week. You can work confidently with the Marketing Manager, ABM Manager, sales and technical experts; make complex security topics simple and relevant for buyers; use data, AI and marketing tools practically; and keep activity accurate and moving.
Essential - Recent, relevant experience in B2B marketing within ICT, managed services, cybersecurity or another complex B2B environment
- Proven ability to plan and deliver integrated campaigns across digital, content, email, events and paid channels
- Experience executing account-based or targeted account marketing, including buying-group mapping and tailoring content for priority accounts
- Experience working closely with sales teams to turn priorities into practical campaigns, messaging and follow-up activity
- A strong writer who can simplify technical topics into clear, compelling, buyer-relevant content
- Confident using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar to support research, content drafts, analysis and reporting
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders and deadlines within a three-day week
Highly advantageous - Experience delivering events and webinars for technical and executive audiences
- Experience marketing to Enterprise and Government organisations
