The Role: As a Security Architect you will be expected to provide thought leadership, guidance, and strategic advice to our customers on cyber security matters, through to the development of proposals and high-level conceptual designs for implementation of security solutions. You will be work alongside the Head of Security to review and enhance existing capabilities and help develop new services.
Preferred location for the role is to be Sydney, but for the right candidate the role can be based in Brisbane as well.
Key responsibilities: - Consult and design solutions across a broad range of cyber security topics to support our customers and their business strategies in line with the Brennan Portfolio and GTM
- Architect Security solutions involving latest trend & products related to Workplace, Edge and Public Cloud (AWS & Azure)
- Drive the technical qualification, scoping, estimation, assessment and design of new / existing opportunities
- Create technical documentation relevant to sales (tender/RFX responses, technical design)
- Become a “trusted advisor” within key customer accounts
- Development of standardised offerings and support sales enablement collateral.
Key Skills and Qualifications required: - Minimum 5 years experience across a broad range of technology streams, including Systems, Infrastructure, SaaS, Private and Public Cloud.
- Experience with cyber security standards, regulations, policies and processes
- Experience in taking business challenges and translating them into technical solutions.
- Proven ability to create and present complex business and technical solutions
- Proven ability to innovate, adapt and work under pressure in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and firm deadlines
- Industry certifications such as CISSP/CISM/CRISC is highly regarded
- Be a Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Security, covering some of the following specialties below:
- EDR and Anti-Malware
- Digital Forensics and Incident Response
- Security Awareness
- Email, Web Gateways, CASB
- Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls
- Patch and Vulnerability Management
- SIEM and Log Collection/Correlation
- ASD Essential 8
- Compliance programs (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, ISM etc)
