The role:We are looking for an experienced Senior Managed Network Services (MNS) Consultant L3 to join our friendly and high-performing team
in our Sydney Barangaroo office. In this role, You will be responsible for proactively managing our client’s IT environments and your core function is to solve advanced and complex issues faced by our clients to ensure the root cause of issues is addressed. As this role requires technical support to Brennan Managed Network clients and staff, the ability to work in a timely manner is crucial and having strong communication is necessary for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide in depth technical analysis to the internal network teams and Communications customers.
- Demonstrating full knowledge of Brennan IT systems, core network, and complex customers.
- Serving as an escalation point for all technologies related to managed network services clients.
- Be the primary engineer for specified tier 1 and 2 clients, providing strategic and deep technical advice for all network queries.
- Acting as the final escalation point and assisting with the most complex networking issues.
- Ensuring the achievement of contracted levels of performance through
proactive monitoring, event management, and escalation management of performance-related incidents. - Serve as the primary point of contact for client and internal inquiries, attending monthly customer meetings alongside the SDM, AM, and Managed Services personnel.
- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, assisting in their
development through coaching and mentoring. - Be responsible for case ownership and resolve tasks in a timely manner, adhering to Brennan standards, SLAs and client expectations.
What skills and experience you bring: - The ability to consult internally and directly with clients to design and plan operations to network systems.
- Experienced with collaborating closely and work in conjunction with the Managed Services Infrastructure team.
- Direct experience being the primary escalation point as this role will be the point of technical escalation for NOC staff.
- Perform documentation for customer networks including but not limited to creating and maintaining detailed design documents, network diagrams, knowledge articles, principles, and guidelines for customers.
- Strong and in-depth experience across Fortinet suite of products
- Other industry based technical knowledge & certifications such as:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS-Junos)
- Aruba Certified Switching Associate (ACSA)
- Fortinet NSE 4
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
- Good understanding of Zero Trust networks and NAC controls.
