About the Role:
As an industrial painter, you will prepare, sand, clean, mask, prime and paint truck bodies, trailers and steel components, apply protective industrial coatings and finishes, inspect completed work for quality, maintain painting equipment and spray systems, follow workshop safety and PPE requirements and work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production schedules.
You will be expected to:
- Prepare truck bodies, trailers and steel components for painting.
- Sand, clean, mask, prime and paint fabricated components.
- Apply protective industrial coatings and finishes.
- Inspect completed work to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Maintain paint equipment and spray systems.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Work closely with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production schedules.
About You:We’re looking for someone who brings the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of industrial or automotive painting experience
- Experience using airless or conventional spray-painting equipment
- Knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to meet English language requirements
- Ability to build positive working relationships and work effectively as part of a team
