About the Role:
As a Floorer, you will be responsible for preparing, installing, and finishing a range of flooring products while working alongside other trades and project managers on-site. You will contribute to safe, organised, and efficient project delivery while maintaining high installation standards. 
 
Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing floors ready for new floor covering installations
• Installing carpet and carpet tiles
• Installing vinyl and vinyl planks
• Installing ceramic tiling
• Installing laminate flooring
• Installing acoustic wall linings
• Installing acoustic ceiling linings
• Liaising with other trades on-site
• Liaising with project managers to support efficient project delivery
• Taking products and materials to site for installation
• Working effectively as part of a team
• Maintaining an organised, clean and safe working environment

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on installation work, working alongside site teams and delivering quality flooring finishes.

About You:
We're looking for a Floorer with proven flooring installation experience, strong technical skills, physical capability, and the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
Minimum 3 years’ relevant flooring installation experience

• Experience in vinyl roll installation, including butterfly cuts at corners or carpet roll installation experience
• Experience using a heat welding gun and carpet steaming iron
• Proficient in vinyl cutting and carpet cutting
• Able to accurately estimate material requirements
• Full driver's licence equivalent to a New Zealand Class 1 driver's licence
• Physically fit and agile for completing installations on time
• Team player with the ability to work effectively with others
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to meet English language requirements of PTE Academic score 29 or IELTS overall band score 4.0
• Relevant certificates or qualifications are highly regarded
