About the Role:
As a Roofer, you will work on a variety of roofing projects, installing and maintaining roofing systems to a high standard while ensuring roofs are safe, durable and fully watertight. You will work closely with the Project Manager and team members to deliver quality outcomes while maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
 
Your responsibilities include: 

• Reading and interpreting roofing plans and accurately measure and prepare roofing areas
• Installing tiles, long-run roofing, flashings, membranes and ridge caps
• Cutting and fitting roofing materials around edges, chimneys and vents
• Checking alignment, seal gaps and ensure roofs are fully watertight
• Safely using roofing tools and set up scaffolding and ladders
• Maintaining a clean and organised worksite
• Following all health and safety procedures and report incidents
• Working collaboratively with the Project Manager and team members

This work is perfectly suited to someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in quality workmanship and works well as part of a team.
 
About You:
We're looking for a skilled Roofer with proven roofing or construction experience, strong technical knowledge and the ability to work safely and effectively in outdoor environments.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in roofing or construction
• Knowledge of different roofing materials, including tiles and metal roofing
• Understanding of roofing installation techniques 
• Familiarity with safety protocols for working at heights 
• Experience using roofing tools and equipment 
• Ability to measure and install roofing components accurately 
• Understanding of roofing systems and weatherproofing techniques 
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, plans and specifications 
• Proficiency with nail guns, hammers, ladders and scaffolding 
• Strong physical fitness and stamina for outdoor work 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to meet English language requirements (PTE Academic score of 29 or IELTS overall band score of 4.0) 
• Ability to build positive working relationships and work effectively as part of a team
