Position: Transport Professional
Location: Canterbury
Type: Full-time/Permanent
Pay Range: $30 to $35 per hour
Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities: 
As a Transport Professional, your main responsibilities will include the safe, efficient, and professional transportation of freight while maintaining compliance with transport legislation, company procedures, and health and safety requirements 
 
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Vehicle Operations: Operate Class 5 vehicles safely and efficiently, complete vehicle inspections, and ensure freight is loaded, secured, transported, and unloaded safely.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain accurate logbooks, comply with transport regulations, and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Customer Service & Teamwork: Provide professional customer service, communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, and contribute positively to the team environment. 

 
To be successful in this role, you will need: 

• At least 1 year of proven relevant work experience  
• Current NZ Class 5 Driver Licence (or ability to convert an international equivalent)  
• Good understanding of transport compliance and road safety requirements  
• Strong commitment to health and safety  
• Reliable communication and customer service skills  
• Complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test on request  
• Provide an up-to-date criminal record check on request
