Position: Stainless Steel Fabricator
Location: Wanaka, Otago
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Pay Range: $30-35 per hour
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
Stainless Steel Fabricator | Polishing experience is desirable
As a Stainless Steel Fabricator, your main responsibilities will include interpreting engineering drawings and the quality fabrication of stainless-steel components.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Fabricate stainless steel, PVC and wood components
- Ensure products are correctly fitted with the relevant materials through mechanical riveting and TIG welding
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Coordinate cladding repairs for damage or repairs as required
- Polish and water test products to a high standard
- Install pumps and heaters
To be successful in this role, you will need: - At least 3 years’ experience in metal fabrication, welding or other related field/s
- Proficiency using hand, power and specialised tools.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrated knowledge of various cladding materials, metal properties and installation techniques
- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical information to customers
- Reliability, professionalism, and strong problem-solving skills
- Physically fit to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate heavy loads
- Complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test on request
- Provide an up-to-date criminal record check on request
