Position: Offset Printer Operator
Location: Greymouth, West Coast
Type: Full-time/Permanent
Pay Range: $35 to $40 per hour
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: Guaranteed at least 40 hours per week
The Company:
Our client is a well-established New Zealand manufacturer specialising in high-quality solid fibre packaging solutions. With a strong reputation for precision, reliability, and innovation, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional print quality and service to their customers. They are now seeking an experienced Offset Printer to join their production team in Greymouth.
Our client is looking to implement an additional shift on their presses to keep ahead of growing workload demand, so experience working shifts would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate offset printing presses while ensuring quality and production targets are met.
As an Offset Printer Operator, your main responsibilities will include operating A1 and A2 presses, maintaining high print standards, and supporting production schedules. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Press Operation: Set up and operate A1/A2 offset presses
- Quality Control: Ensure all print meets required standards
- Production Targets: Work to daily KPIs and schedules
- Data Entry: Input job details into PrintIQ MIS system
- Teamwork: Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines
To be successful in this role, you will need: - At least 3 years' relevant printing experience
- Experience operating sheetfed offset printing presses
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Experience working shift patterns is desirable
- Ability to work to deadlines and production targets
- Good team attitude and reliability
- Complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test on request
- Provide an up-to-date criminal record check on request
