Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours, standard 40 hours per week

Our client is a well-established and respected workshop that offers top-quality vehicle servicing and repairs. Our goal is to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every vehicle we work on is in optimal condition. They are now looking for an experienced and reliable Fleet Tyre Technician to join the team and contribute to the continued success.
  
  
The Role
The Senior Fleet Tyre Technician is responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining tyres on heavy machines and equipment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' fleet vehicles, which will include tyre maintenance, on-site and in-store servicing and fitting, as well as maintaining accurate records and job cards. You must have great communication and customer service skills as you will be dealing with customers face-to-face.

Responsibilities will include:

• Identifying irregular wear patterns and potential hazards on heavy machinery and equipment tyres.
• Repairing and maintaining tyres using chemical or vulcanised components
• Removing and replacing wheels and rims
• Refitting tyres and completing inspection checks to service standards
• Working with tyres on heavy equipment, including forklifts, earthmoving equipment, graders, tractors, and other industrial machinery
• The ability to work full-time, with availability to undertake on-call weekend work as required
• To be physically fit and able to carry out manual work
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

  
Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience as a Fleet tyre technician
• Strong skills in vehicle servicing, tyre maintenance, and repairs
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
• Full driver’s licence or international equivalent preferred
• Must be reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
