We are currently looking for reliable and motivated Scaffolders to join our team in Nelson. This is a permanent full-time opportunity working across a range of commercial and residential sites, with a supportive team and consistent workflow.

- Competitive pay of $29.66 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00am to 4:30pm
- Optional Saturday work available when required or desired

About the Role: As a Scaffolder, you will work as part of a team to erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding safely and efficiently. You will ensure that all scaffolding structures meet company safety standards and industry regulations so that they are safe for workers on site.
Key Responsibilities: - Work as part of a team to erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
- Calculate scaffold load requirements and ensure structures are capable of supporting required weight loads.
- Install scaffold components including tubes, braces, ladders, guardrails, toe boards, and platforms.
- Inspect scaffolding regularly to ensure structural integrity and safety.
- Identify and report site hazards and follow all health and safety procedures.
- Load, transport, and unload scaffolding equipment to and from job sites.
- Ensure all scaffolding work complies with manufacturer guidelines and New Zealand scaffolding safety standards.
- Maintain scaffolding equipment and ensure all materials are accounted for on site.
About You: To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 5 year of relevant scaffolding experience, including erection and dismantling
- Ability to safely use tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites
- Ability to work well within a team
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot on site
- Good physical fitness and ability to work at heights
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations for scaffolding work
