Our client is a well-established manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and practical solutions. The business is in a clear growth phase, with increasing demand across New Zealand and international markets.

They are now seeking a Procurement and Finance Manager  to take responsibility for financial performance and inventory control across the business. You will identify issues early and take action to keep the operation running tight.

This is a key strategic role. You will work closely with the Managing Director and senior team to support growth, strengthen systems, and lift performance across finance and operations.

What you will do

• Lead financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and cash flow
• Take control of inventory, purchasing, and stock accuracy
• Ensure production is not disrupted by stock or supplier issues
• Improve cost control, supplier performance, and inventory levels
• Lead and develop finance and procurement teams

What you bring

• Tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce or a related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience in a senior accounting or finance role 
• 5+ years’ supply chain/procurement experience in manufacturing or engineering
• Strong analytical capability, commercial mindset and advanced excel capability
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills to build trusted relationships , confident to challenge decisions constructively across all levels
• Proven leadership, you hold people accountable and drive performance
