Location: Kerikeri, Northland.
Type: Full time/Permanent.
Pay range: $29.66 - $35.00/Hour.
Days: Monday to Friday (with occasional work on weekends).
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, standard of 40 hours per week.

They use specialist software to create innovative products and work closely with their clients to provide customised solutions. With a North Island and South Island site and a fleet of delivery trucks, they are pleased to provide exceptional products and customer service nationwide.

The Role:

This position is responsible for maintaining machinery efficiency and optimising quality standards in production processes. The role will reduce machinery downtime through effective configuration, maintenance, training, and troubleshooting of various machinery.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot extrusion machinery.
• Minimise downtime through effective repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor quality, conduct tests, and address production issues.
• Maintain records and manage spare parts inventory.
• Train operators on proper procedures and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, health & safety, and environmental standards.
• Report incidents, breakdowns, and quality concerns.

About You:

• At least 3 years' experience in plastic extrusion or a similar role.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Physically fit (able to lift up to 25kg).
• Flexible with hours during peak periods.
