Pay range: $30 - $35 per hour
Days: Must be available to work 5 days a week, working 1 Saturday or Sunday. Ideally available weekends.
Hours: Guaranteed at least 30 hours, standard 40 hours per week

We’re looking for a talented Chef who shares our passion for great food and community connections.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  

• Responsible for overseeing the kitchen, passionately executing the café menu with excellent presentation.
• Planning, preparing and presenting both cabinet and menu items
• Purchasing and ordering ingredients in-line with budget and business needs.
• Review and adjust cabinet and menu pricing.
• Collaborating with the front of house manager and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Managing kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to food safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in kitchen equipment and culinary techniques.
• A passion for food and a commitment to high-quality standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
