As a contributor to this ongoing growth and development, we are working in partnership with a very successful B2B marketing agency who are in need for an Account Director to come on board and take the lead on some very exciting tech accounts.
Now before I talk about the actual role, I’d like to give you an idea of the type of agency you will be joining.
Our client is a well-established B2B integrated marketing agency. Originally focusing on demand gen, this agency is now a full service marcoms agency that works very closely with some of the world’s largest tech and telco businesses around. Both UK and US based.
Due to serious growth, they are now seeking an Account Director to join the agency and support on a key account and a couple of smaller ones.
Working with the Client Services Director your role will be split between both strategy and campaign delivery. Therefore, you must be confident in client facing, understanding their business objectives and being able to respond to brief. Being commercially savvy is equally important as you will be responsible for growing your accounts.
You will be supported by a vast team of likeminded individuals who will be on hand to contribute. With regards to both on and offline campaign delivery, it will be important that you ensure your team fulfils the objectives and delivers the projects on time and on budget.
With the above in mind, experience in team management will be essential. A proactive nurture and development approach is key so you will need to be able to demonstrate that you’ve done this before. As let’s face it we are only as good as the people we surround ourselves with.
Oh and I’m sure its obvious but you will need to have recent experience in working within B2B marketing agency arena and have managed various tech or telco accounts.
In return for your experience as an Account Director our client offers a very competitive salary ranging between £50-60k plus benefits.
