Be Recruitment is proud to partner with Sydney Region Aboriginal Corporation (SRAC) to recruit a Senior Family Preservation Case Worker to join the organisation's newly established Family Preservation program.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) at the beginning of a new program, helping shape practice, build strong community relationships and support Aboriginal children and families through culturally safe, trauma-informed services.

About the Role

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver strengths-based, trauma-informed case management to children, young people and families, helping keep children safely connected to their families, culture and community.
As the Senior Case Worker, you'll also provide day-to-day leadership and practice support to a team of Case Workers. You'll play a key role in building capability, strengthening practice and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, culturally safe services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to Case Workers
• Supporting caseload allocation, practice quality and service delivery
• Guiding staff through complex risk assessments, safety planning and casework decisions
• Monitoring compliance with Family Preservation practice standards and legislative requirements
• Working closely with the Family Services Manager to foster reflective practice, continuous improvement and positive outcomes for Aboriginal children and families

About You

You'll bring:

• Experience leading or mentoring Case Workers within Family Preservation, Child Protection, Intensive Family Support or a similar Child & Family Services setting.
• Proven ability to strengthen practice, provide day-to-day guidance and support teams to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
• Confidence supporting complex casework, risk assessments and reflective practice.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice, child protection legislation and Family Preservation principles.
• A Diploma in Community Services (or equivalent), or significant relevant experience.
